Create a reusable study-planning workflow
Turn goals and time constraints into a schedule you can inspect and revise.
A plan you can check
Goal: revise three biology topics in seven days.
Constraint: 45 minutes each day.
Deliverable: a schedule with one self-test per day.
Build it in 3 steps
- 1
Collect a useful brief
A complete input brief.
- 2
Generate a constrained schedule
A draft schedule with explicit time limits.
- 3
Check and revise
A reviewed schedule and a short explanation of one improvement.
Step-by-step walkthrough
Step 1
Collect a useful brief
Write down the subject, topics, deadline, current knowledge, and realistic minutes available each day. Ask for missing inputs instead of assuming them. Use a fictional scenario first so no private information is needed.
Subject: biology Topics: cells, genetics, ecology Deadline: 7 days Available: 45 minutes/day Starting point: introductory knowledge
Deliverable: A complete input brief.
Step 2
Generate a constrained schedule
Use the reusable workflow from the foundations course. Ask for a table with day, topic, activity, and time. Include a self-test, and require the assistant to flag topics that cannot fit. Keep the original inputs beside the result.
Inputs: subject={subject}, topics={topics}, days={days}, minutes_per_day={minutes}. Ask for missing required inputs first. Create a revision schedule with day, topic, activity, and duration. Keep each day within the time limit. Add a self-test. Flag topics that cannot reasonably fit instead of claiming complete coverage.Deliverable: A draft schedule with explicit time limits.
Step 3
Check and revise
Add up each day’s activities yourself. Check coverage against the input list and make sure every self-test has a way to check the answer. Record one failed constraint, revise the prompt, and compare the two results. Save the brief, prompt, review notes, and final schedule as your project write-up.
Check: each day totals <=45 minutes. Check: cells, genetics, ecology are all covered. Check: every day contains a self-test. If a check fails: reduce scope or revise the schedule.
Deliverable: A reviewed schedule and a short explanation of one improvement.
