Research workflow

Compare research sources

Understand how supplied sources agree, disagree, and leave questions unanswered.

Supply your inputs

Source excerpts and a question. Replace the variables in braces with your own context. Ask for missing information before running the task. Do not include private information you do not need to share.

The prompt

Answer {question} using only the source excerpts below. Label each excerpt with its supplied source ID. Return a table of claim, supporting source IDs, disagreements, and missing evidence. Keep direct observations separate from inference. Do not invent citations or treat a missing claim as a contradiction.
Sources: {excerpts}

Worked example

Question: does the intervention improve retention? Source A reports improvement after one week in 20 learners. Source B measures satisfaction, not retention. Comparison: A offers limited retention evidence; B cannot confirm or contradict that outcome.

Illustrative example, not a recorded model test.

Check the result

Open the original sources, verify quotations and methods, and check whether samples and measured outcomes are comparable.

Adapt and repeat

Run a small case first. Record where the result misses a requirement, change one part of the prompt, and compare the revised output with the same checks. A confident tone does not establish accuracy.
