Writing workflow

Turn meeting notes into actions

Extract explicit commitments while keeping suggestions and unknowns visible.

Supply your inputs

Notes and participant roles. Replace the variables in braces with your own context. Ask for missing information before running the task. Do not include private information you do not need to share.

The prompt

Extract actions from the notes below. Return a table with action, owner, deadline, and supporting quote. Use ‘not specified’ for missing owners or dates. Include only explicit commitments. Notes: Maya will send the draft on Friday. We should consider a new homepage.

Worked example

Notes: Maya will send the draft on Friday. We should consider a new homepage. Action: send the draft; owner: Maya; deadline: Friday (calendar date not specified). Open question: whether to pursue a new homepage.

Illustrative example, not a recorded model test.

Check the result

Confirm dates with participants. Do not turn a suggestion into an assigned task or assume which Friday the notes mean.

Adapt and repeat

Run a small case first. Record where the result misses a requirement, change one part of the prompt, and compare the revised output with the same checks. A confident tone does not establish accuracy.
